HAPPILY EVER AFTER

HAPPILY

EVER AFTER

Everyday, more than 39,000 underaged girls in developing nations are forced into early marriages before their 18th birthday. UN Women wants to take a stand against these unlawful marriages through a partnership with fashion designer, Vera Wang.

Vera Wang will design a series of tiny dresses intended for child brides that she will display at her next wedding sample sale. Placing these dresses at Vera Wang's popular sample sales are to get these soon to be brides attending this event to realize the harsh reality that thousands of girls all over the world have to face. Although they might be shopping for their happily ever after, many of these girls are ending their chances of one.

UN Women and Vera Wang collaborate to create a sample sale with wedding dresses catered to child brides.
