Growing up Asian American was super confusing. I wasn’t really Chinese enough and I obviously wasn’t American enough. I guess the facts are that i’m a lot of both. I was born in Hong Kong but I was raised in the Bay. I grew up with Chinese karaoke in the house but I love Mac Dre. I would only eat dim sum for the rest of my life but you bet I would dream about M&M Mcflurries often.
Tsingtao asked us to help them do a complete brand for the US market coming from the perspective of an Asian American. So lucky for them, I have a lot to say about who I am and I also just love the beer. This book became my truth and was written in my words. It’s colorful, playful but honest. It makes an awkward conversation less awkward. We are who are and the more we understand one another, the more respect we’ll have. So cheers to tha- wait does anyone have a pepcid?
In partnership with the Higher Brothers and 88rising, we created wild postings that announced the release of their new album “Five Stars”. The album was fire 🔥and the posters turned out pretty fire as well 🔥🔥🔥🔥
also, we partied in New York with Opening Ceremony for Fashion Week. It was fierce and we had so many H Mart snacks.
